DiversaFry founder Keenan Hillerbrand comes from a family with a shared passion for food, entrepreneurship and social justice.
As a teenager, Keenan battled a rare, undiagnosed pituitary adenoma tumor and struggled to find his passion and place in the traditional high school environment.
Throughout this trying time, Keenan held firmly to his passion for food and sought out a challenge that would indulge his creative side. Then in late 2018, Keenan founded DiversaFry with a simple goal: re-invent an unhealthy American staple with fresh, healthy, and local ingredients to deliver a one-of-a-kind culinary experience!
We invite you to join Keenan in his passion to reinvent the the world, one fry at a time. DiversaFry is incubated by The Hatchery which supports local food entrepreneurs cultivate their ideas and create local job opportunities. DiversaFry extends its commitment to re-invention beyond fries - we employ locals from the Evanston and partner with local organizations to help feed the homeless and hungry through our 'Reinvent the World' program.

DiversaFry is committed to reinvention of the unhealthy and changing the negative perception of the french fry. DiversaFry partners with local farms to bring you the freshest possible ingredients.
Thanks to the hard work of DiversaFry’s recipe development team, we have developed new and creative ways to make our food healthier as well as challenging the traditional loaded french fry with a focus on Vegan and Vegetarian options.
